Thursday 5th September marked International Charity Day and the team at Usay Compare were proud to get involved with, The Ardonagh Group's Give Back Day.
This day was an opportunity for all of our colleagues at our offices across the UK to raise money for the group charity, along with other organisations within The Ardonagh Group.
The task was simple, each employee completes at least a mile on 5th September, and the Ardonagh Community Trust (ACT) donates £5 to their dedicated charity partner Medecins Sans Frontieres. The charity is a non-governmental organisation known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases.
Our team got involved both at home and in the office by walking/running and taking team walks throughout the day. There were plenty of fundraising opportunities and Radio Ardonagh hosted a live Give Back show. It was fantastic to see so many get involved, have fun and raise money. We're passionate about our involvement in supporting charities to provide healthcare to wider communities.
We’re pleased to announce that overall, The Ardonagh Group raised £117,000 for MSF, surpassing the group goal of £100,000.
